Trivandrum (Kazhakootam) · Kadakkal · Online — Unlearn Academy
UI/UX is the discipline behind every app and website that works well. Sreedevi V J, UI/UX Faculty and ex-UI/UX Designer at Adsomia, leads this programme alongside Akash Asokan, Brand Designer with 7+ years of experience. L1 teaches the complete 2026 UI/UX workflow — from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI, mobile app design, prototyping, and live website publishing in Framer. Adobe XD is discontinued (2023). This course teaches Figma + Framer — the industry standard. Graduates leave with 7 real deliverables: a UX research pack, a website UI, a mobile app UI, an animated prototype, a live published Framer website, an AI tools workflow, and a portfolio case study website.
The UI/UX design course is available at Unlearn Academy's Trivandrum campus (Kazhakootam) and Kadakkal campus, with hybrid access for students across Kerala.
Skills you'll gain
The UI/UX design course is suited for anyone who wants to work in product design — the discipline behind apps, websites, and digital tools that are intuitive and effective. It attracts a wide range of students: engineering graduates who want to move into design, graphic designers who want to specialise in digital products, fresh graduates with an interest in technology and aesthetics, and working professionals switching from non-design roles. UI/UX design has the highest entry-level salary of all digital skills categories in Kerala, starting at ₹4–6 LPA for graduates with a strong portfolio. No prior design software knowledge is required.
Entry requirements
L1 taught you the complete UI/UX workflow. L2 makes you genuinely good at it — under real conditions, for real clients, with advanced skills that open up senior roles and higher rates. Every week produces a deliverable a client would pay for. Accessibility is not optional: every L2 deliverable meets WCAG 2.1 AA. Prerequisite: UI/UX Design L1.

No prior design experience is required for L1 Foundation. You will learn Figma and Framer from the ground up. Students with a visual arts or engineering background tend to progress quickly, but neither is a prerequisite.
Adobe XD was discontinued in 2023. Figma is the global industry standard for UI/UX design. Framer is the leading design-to-publish tool — it bridges the gap between design and live website without writing code. This course teaches the 2026 industry stack, not outdated software.
