If you're a woman considering a digital skills course — or a parent weighing whether to support a daughter through one — the questions that come up aren't really about the curriculum. They're about safety, timing, and whether you'll actually feel comfortable in the space. Those are fair questions, and they deserve straight answers rather than a marketing brush-off.
Where you'd actually be training
Unlearn's Trivandrum campus is inside Logtech Towers, on the Technopark IT park campus in Kazhakkoottam — an established, secured tech park, not a rented room above a shop. The Kadakkal campus sits inside the SHM College campus in Kollam district. Both are institutional settings with normal daytime working hours, and both welcome a visit before you enrol — see them yourself rather than take our word for it.
Timing and flexibility
- The Digital Marketing course currently offers a full online track, taught live with the same mentor access as offline — a realistic option if commuting or family timing is the concern
- Other courses currently run offline only; if that's a blocker for you, ask our counselling team directly what flexibility exists rather than assuming there's none
- Batches run during standard daytime hours, not late evenings
You won't be the only woman in the room
Representation matters, and it's reasonable to ask about it directly. At Unlearn, women teach as well as learn: Sumayya Beegam (Digital Marketing Specialist, Meta & Google Ads), Reshma (SEO & GEO Manager), and Sreedevi V J (UI/UX Faculty) are named, active mentors — not a token hire, but people actually running the curriculum. What we can't promise, and won't pretend to
We won't claim a risk-free guarantee no institute can honestly make. What we can offer is transparency: real addresses you can visit, named mentors you can ask to meet, and a counselling team that would rather answer an uncomfortable question honestly than lose it to silence. If safety or flexibility is your main hesitation, that conversation is worth having before you enrol, not after.
